Plankara Oy is an engineering consultancy based in Vantaa, Finland, providing mechanical, electrical, automation and software design for industrial clients. We are looking for an experienced electrical design engineer for heavy mobile machinery product development projects in the Pirkanmaa region (Tampere area).

The work

– Electrical systems of mobile work machines, up to 1000 V

– Electrical schematics and wiring harnesses

– Control buses (CAN, J1939)

– Machine safety and standards

– Work in the client's product development team: mainly on site, partly remote as agreed with the client

We expect

– At least 5 years of experience in designing electrical systems for mobile machinery, vehicles or similar

– Electrical design software in daily use (e.g. EPLAN, Cadmatic Electrical, CADS or AutoCAD Electrical)

– BSc or MSc in engineering or equivalent

– English as working language; Finnish is an advantage

– Readiness to relocate to Finland

– Experience with large PDM environments is an advantage

How it works

– We first present your skills to the client anonymously. Your name is disclosed only with your permission and always company by company.

– When the client wants you on the project, we sign an employment contract with you.

– Salary for an experienced designer.
